In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create Golden Ginkgo Shrink Plastic Earrings, using simple tools and gentle heat to transform flat plastic into elegant, glowing pieces of jewelry.

Materials & Tools

To start this project, prepare the following materials:

Shrink plastic sheets
Scissors
Hole puncher
Heat gun
Tweezers
Yellow or orange watercolor pencils / markers
Gold earring hooks & jump rings
Small pearl beads (optional)

Step 1: Coloring The Ginkgo Pattern

Begin by cutting out the ginkgo leaf shapes from the shrink plastic template .

Use soft watercolor pencils or markers to color the surface — layer warm orange and golden tones for a natural leaf gradient.

Step 2: Heat And Shape The Leaf

Place the colored piece on a flat heat-resistant surface.
